2008 Layer Cake Shiraz
Highly concentrated black fruit dominated by blackberries, black cherries, crushed black currants, huckleberries, intense dry extract and gobs of
melted licorice. The midpalate reveals even more spices with underlying aniseed, supple tannins and minerals going into a powerful and long finish that has tons of fruit and vanilla-laced oak references to the end.
Bitch Grenache
The nose and palate are a delicate mix of fruit characters; perfumed raspberries, peach, and poached quince. The palate extends to a juicy, fleshy
texture with confectionary flavors of strawberries and cream and finishes with spicy, cloves, and nutmeg.
Hope Estate “The Ripper” Shiraz
Huge berry fruit, spicy nutmeg and chocolate characters fill the palate. The oak is well balanced with acidity leading to a long finish of persistent
fruit, fine grained tannins and cool climate mint notes. A full bodied wine.
