Aromas of black currant and spice accompany a deep garnet color to introduce this stylish Cabernet Sauvignon. The generous palate offers  ripened black fruist framed with bittersweet cocoa and hints of tobacco and earth. Fine, ripe tannins and subtle mineral notes grace a lenghty finish.

This wine is a juicy, rich Malbec that is bolstered by smaller amounts of Bonarda and Syrah. The aromas and flavors suggest dark plum notes followed by smoke and vanilla. The blend creates a rich, dense wine with a pleasing amount of depth

“A big, broad-shouldered wine, with muscular layers of black fig, coffee, bittersweet cocoa and dark licorice piled on top of hefty cedar-tinged tannins. A bit of a brute in style, but cellaring should soften its edges enough. Drink now through 2010.
